Delivery of sets of V8NOTES & RV8NOTES on a Twister memory stick sent by Royal Mail airmail to buyers in Europe and Overseas has been suspended.

An alternative more reliable and rapid delivery method using the online digital files transfer system provided by WeTransfer is now available. Our use of this delivery system has been developed and is managed by our volunteer Keith Belcher.

Delivery of sets of workshop notes to buyers in Europe and Overseas is now only available using the online WeTransfer system.
Why has this been necessary?
Over recent months three packages sent as Large Letters using the Royal Mail airmail delivery system , each containing a set of workshop notes on a Twister memory stick, have arrived at destinations in Spain, Canada and Australia with no stick in the package! The recipients have each reported that on close inspection they could see the package had been very cleverly broken into, the item removed and then the packaging neatly resealed so that on arrival there were no immediate signs of a break in.

Another set of workshop notes on a Twister memory stick sent on 17th April 2023 in a robust packaging as a Small Parcel by tracked airmail to a buyer in Australia has been tracked to Austria. It seems the package was incorrectly scanned at the service centre near London Heathrow airport before it was sent out by an airfreight services company. Unfortunately the support we have had from Royal Mail to get the parcel sent to the address in Australia on the label has been poor so there is uncertainty over the further progress and arrival of the package at the buyer's address in Australia.

Update: the latest news is from a contact at the postal service in Austria who said in an email to the V8 Register that the package is being returned to the UK! Even though that email message was copied to Royal Mail there has been no response from them with any support or reassurance that they will trace the returned item and take the necessary action to get the package delivered to the address in Australia or an apology for their poor service.
